10/7/12 Weekly News

This past week was a very busy one for the men of the Virginia Iota chapter. It was Family Weekend in Harrisonburg! Many of the brother's parents made the trip to Harrisonburg, some traveling all the way from Vermont to see their son. The chapter held a tailgate at the Fed before the football game. The tailgate was extremely fun! Catered my McCallister's Deli, there was plenty of food for everyone, as well as tailgate games cornhole and Kan Jam. It was awesome to meet everyone's parents that could make it. Then, everyone walked to Bridgeforth to watch the Dukes take on the Towson Tigers in Mickey Matthews' 100th win with the JMU program.

The chapter hopes that all of the families that made it down had a good time and plan on returning to future Family Weekends. Hopefully, all of the families that couldn't make it this past weekend can come down another time and see their son and meet the brothers.

We are looking forward to the events that we have coming up in the near future, such as Homecoming/Alumni Weekend.
